AGIRE è riconoscita dall'Autorità Nazionale per l'Energia Elettrica e il Gas - AEEG quale Energy Service Company e può dunque effettuare interventi finalizzati a migliorare l'efficienza energetica, assumendo su di se' il rischio dell'iniziativa e liberando il cliente finale da ogni onere organizzativo e di investimento. I risparmi economici ottenuti vengono condivisi fra la ESCO ed il Cliente finale con diverse tipologie di accordo commerciale.


 
AGIRE è riconoscuta da IRER Lombardia come centro di ricerca e di trasferimento tecnologico  CRTT per tutto il 2010.

Projects
In this section of the site are collected, projects and activities in which AGIRE is active. The projects are conducted by AGIRE in accordance with general policies for Energy Saving and RES in the European Union, being the Agency AGIRE uno of the nearly 400 Energy Management Agencies co-financed by the European Commission.

Projects in collaboration with public Institutions:
 
¨           1. "Biomass" project with the utilization of the cities trees pruning for energy production, in collaboration with the Province of Mantova, SIEM, TEA, some Municipalities and the co-financing of the Lombardy Region. AGIRE proposal.
¨           2. "Energy Saver Kit" project on behalf of the Province of Mantova, with the distribution of 2.000 Energy Saver Kit (3 light bulbs + 4 water flow reducers each). With a substantial reduction of CO2 emission for 300.000 kg. / year and electric energy consumptions reduction for 500 MWh / year. AGIRE proposal.
¨           2 bis. A second edition of the "Energy Saver Kit" distribution will be done in the second half of 2008 during the "Salv.E. Tour" project. AGIRE proposal.
¨           3. "Salv.E. Tour" project. In collaboration with the Province of Mantova. In Italian, salve means hello!, but the name of the project means "let's Save Energy" and concerns a tour in at least 20 Municipalities of the province of Mantova, during the weekly local market, with a van (bought by the Province of Mantova). Expert personnel of the Agency and of the Province of Mantova will be available for every information on energy issues: RES, energy saving, boilers certification, fiscal deduction for energy saving equipments offering, as well, free "Energy Saver Kit". In other word, a sort of travelling Agency at disposal of the citizens of the province of Mantova. AGIRE proposal.
¨           4. "Area Energy Management" project. In collaboration with Polytechnic of Milan, Chamber of Commerce, Province of Mantova and 26 Municipalities of the southern Mantova ex Obj. 2 area in the field of Building Energy Certification as a city planning tool. The aim was to provide energy certification to public buildings, a suitable City regulation model for private buildings (for the builders: more you save, more cubage you earn) together with necessary training sessions.
¨           5. "SOLEdarietà" project. In collaboration with the Province of Mantova and the Association "… con vista sul mondo Onlus" for the realization of a solar photovoltaic system in the hospital of Bukavu city in Congo.
¨           6. "Fermi School Laboratory" project. Part of the Fo.R.Agri. programme, AGIRE was in charged of the management and/or realization of the actions. One of the financed project was the building up of a renewable energy sources laboratory, energetically sustainable, specialized in Hydrogen. AGIRE proposal.
¨           7. "Interreg Alp Energy" project (Alpine Space Programme). In collaboration with the Province of Mantova and TEA (+ other 12 international partners). The Agency was asked to support the Province of Mantova in the realization of the Virtual Power Plants (VPP) a "concept" to connect renewable power sources like biogas plants or photovoltaic facilities with electricity storage like batteries, cooling systems or heat pumps to allow for optimal usage of regional power sources.
¨           8. "EGS" project (IEE programme). In collaboration with the Province of Mantova and Sogesca (+ other 21 international partners). The Agency was asked to support the Province of Mantova in the realization of the project. EGS starts from the need to involve local communities in tackling energy issues and improving energy efficiency. The project focuses on 4 main levels: developing new educational contents for pupils, teachers training, involvement of the local productive sector (SMEs), governance. EGS will create a network of 13 bottom-up school for involving families, local Administrations, SMEs, training institutions, environmental and energy agencies, public and private financial actors and all relevant stakeholders in 10 different countries. The main outputs will be: an energy chart for schools, energy management and audits in schools, training for pupils and teachers and a collection of at least 39 new energy projects out of which each school forum will implement one pilot activity that will be monitored and evaluated during the project life.

Ø          Moreover, the Province of Mantova was supported in the realization of its controls on long-distance power lines.
Ø          A "City Energy Info Desks" was opened in Viadana, a 20.000 inhabitants medium-sized town in the province of Mantova, where the public Administration wished strongly an Advisory Service on energy issues. The first Friday morning of the month an expert from AGIRE Staff goes to Viadana until the Municipality officers will be able to run the Info Desk. In addition, some training sessions were and will be carried out until the end of 2008.   

¨           1. "CO2Oil" in collaboration with ENEA national research centre, IES Oil refinery, University of Verona, on the exploitation of seaweed for capturing CO2. Presented at the Economic Development Ministry. AGIRE proposal. Passed a first selection.
¨           2. "SLIM" in collaboration with the Mantova Entrepreneurs Association on the development of a small, light and energetically sustainable "City Surface Metro". Presented at the Economic Development Ministry. AGIRE proposal.
¨           3. "Reutilization of the Hospital co-generator" project. In collaboration with Berica and TEA. AGIRE started working on a great deal: after two years there will be the chance to run the hospital co-generator, never become operative for technical reasons and considered a waste of public money. AGIRE proposal.
¨           4. "AGIRE per Reagire" (to act for reacting). A proposal from the Agency to its Shareholders and other main local stakeholders to create an "Energy Purchasing Group" with the aim to obtaining lower prices for huge supply of electricity and gas. AGIRE proposal.

    ...è l'ora di ENERGY for SCHOOL!!!

    le lezioni di risparmio energetico.e' il progetto per le scuole della provincia di Mantova che AGIRE ha sviluppato per dare preziose pillole di saggezza sul mondo dei consumi energetici in casa e fuori casa. Non mancano anche divertenti coinvolgimenti teatrali per i ragazzi.
